Christmas PatchBalls are a wonderful combination of geometry, curves and tiny piecing. They are perfect for a gift for a child or decoration for your home. And they are a great way to use scraps!

The Stellar PatchBall simulates a sky full of star. You can make it in 2 colours or customized as you wish.

Technique: Foundation Paper Piecing.

Skill Level: Advanced. The Foundation Paper piecing part is easy. The hard part is closing the Ball, which can be make by hand.

Sizes: 4 inches diameter (10 cm), 12 1/2 inches circumference (30 cm). The pattern include a formula to scale it and make it at any size.

The pattern includes:

  • templates to elaborate the Stellar PatchBall,
  • detailed assembly instructions,
  • colourful diagrams,
  • organizing labels for your fabrics.
  • It also incorporates a version system so that you can download for free future changes or updates made to these patterns.

Colour the pattern to create your own version with QuiltInk. If you access the application through www.quiltink.com (or by clicking on the logo in the upper right corner), you will be able to create your account and save your versions in QuiltInk.
